Hi Grace!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I've been so busy this week I've had no time to go visiting my new neighbors. What a great idea! I'll try to stop by your site next week when I get a day off.

On lofty yarns: I'll do a post on this someday soon, but, really it was a challenge to go back to lofty yarns. I automatically spin very fine--three ply fingering weight--so it takes brain power to go for lofty. My one (quickest) piece of advice is to treadle slowly; very slowly.

I love the idea of a Saturday Spin in! Thanks for all the great info and the lovely welcome to the neighborhood!

Hi Tracy~ I am Grace and I found your site through the spinning webring! Your nice logo is right above mine!
I so enjoy your lofty yarns! Do you have any advice for us who spin too thin? Many years ago I did better but strove to go thin and with my Ashford Traditional wheel and hand spindles I now can't get consistent lofty yarns like yours.
I wanted to say HI Webring Neighbor.. and I also enjoyed your socks... I am trying sooo hard to learn how to knit socks.. Am spinning up some merino , have 100 yds done but 320 more to go!
Here is my main photo album at http://picasaweb.google.com
I also wanted to tell you about the Saturday Spin In. It is a fun simple group from Cindy at http://cindyknits.blogspot.com We spinners post pics and what we work on during the week on Saturday and we visit each others sites and comment. You have such a great site for us fiber lovers!
