I automatically spin very fine--three ply fingering weight--so it takes brain power to go for lofty. My one (quickest) piece of advice is to treadle slowly; very slowly. Many years ago I did better but strove to go thin and with my Ashford Traditional wheel and hand spindles I now can't get consistent lofty yarns like yours. I wanted to say HI Webring Neighbor.. and I also enjoyed your socks... I am trying sooo hard to learn how to knit socks.. Am spinning up some merino , have 100 yds done but 320 more to go!
