		<description>When I first heard of knitting machines, I honestly thought they just required the pushing of a couple buttons (much like, say, a washing machine).  Just hand it the materials, choose a setting, and press "start".  You can then go to work or run some errands, and when you come back - voila - a nice new sweater!
Imagine my disappointment when I finally got one.
